The End of Modern LOL in the USA

This past weekend, tragedy struck as Soren “Bjergsen” Bjerg retired from his position as midlaner for TSM and took a position as their new head coach. This came as a shock to many of us, as Bjergsen was having one of his best seasons in years and had singlehandedly lifted his team to the world stage. While their worlds run was cut short, I think it was clear to all of us that they weren’t exactly “World Champion” material. TSM became the first 1st seed to go 0-6 at worlds and was probably because Bjergsen’s  back finally gave out after what I’m sure was a stressful season for him.
For many of us who have been following the LCS for the last decade, this is the end of an era. Bjergsen has been the face of TSM for years and debatably North America’s best player ever. Don’t get me wrong, he hasn’t been historically great the entire time, there were some down years, but neither was Micheal Jordan, Tom Brady or really any other GOAT in American sports history.

The future for TSM may be bright with by far the most talented head coach in the history of our sport, but their are gonna be some challenges along the way, namely, who the f*** is going to replace Bjergsen????
