OFF DA’ DOME: NBA Week 1

OFF DA’ DOME is a weekly game prediction for the 2020-2021 NBA season. Every week I will look through the schedule and pick the teams that I think will come out on top. No deep dive on stats, no insider information. Just me picking teams off da dome.

CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA – FEBRUARY 17: Kevin Durant #35 of the Golden State Warriors and Team LeBron defends Stephen Curry #30 of the Golden State Warriors and Team Giannis during the NBA All-Star game as part of the 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend at Spectrum Center on February 17, 2019 in Charlotte, North Carolina. WEEK 1

Tuesday December 22nd:

Warriors at Nets:

Steph and Wiggins have been playing well but I don’t think the Warriors will be truly competitive until they get Draymond back in. Nets win at home, Kyrie burns some sage.

Clippers at Lakers:

Lakers had an amazing offseason but have been playing funky. I like the clippers for this one.

Wednesday December 23rd:

Heat at Magic:

Magic are trying to get it together but the Heat are a proven squad. Heat win on the road.

Hornets at Cavaliers:

Lamelo Ball is a stud. Cavaliers don’t know what they’re doing with their roster. Hornets win on the road.

Pelicans at Raptors:

Zion is looking to improve on his rookie season and the Raptors will be his first target. Pelicans win on the road.

Hawks at Bulls:

Love the bulls, but I love trey more. Hawks win on the Road.

Piston at Timberwolves:

This is Towns season to prove he can compete with the best of them. Timberwolves win at home.

Mavericks at Suns:

Luka is gunning for MVP this season and will suppress the new firepower of Phoenix. Mav’s win on the road.

I’ll make sure to update y’all with the current record every week to see where we stand. I will also be placing all my bets on Bovada, and will sharing those numbers on each new post. Good luck to all you betters out there, and enjoy the NBA season!
